Hello all!

I usually don't endorse blog-apologies, but I am sorry that I haven't been updating everyone with pictures and stories from the road. Without my computer for the past few months, I haven't found a lot of time to write entries or edit pictures.  On top of that excuse, I just realized I lost my camera cable to connect to my computer...so my iPhone pictures will have to suffice until my new cable arrives!

If you don't have time to read everything today, here are some Spark Notes I'd really like to share. This is my last post to this blog and I wanted to share my new "Follow Me" option on my new blog, The Globetrotting Ginger. If you GO TO MY WEBSITE, there is an option on the right hand side to "Subscribe to My Newsletter". It should be straightforward, even though it requires a few steps, including email confirmation. If you have trouble with this, please let me know! Thank you again for following along!

Over the past few months, I've covered quite a bit of ground in my travels. From the Baltics to Belgium, Caitlin and I had a great April bouncing around Europe.  We had too much fun in Budapest, ate too many pierogis in Poland, and drank our weight (and then some) in Belgian beers in Brussels.
Visiting Consdorf, Luxembourg where Caitlin's family is from.

We had the entire subway car to ourselves in Berlin, Germany. That means it's photo shoot time!
Fantastic weekend with friends, old and new, in Krakow, Poland!

After Caitlin and I parted ways in the Brussels airport at the beginning of May, I was off to Portugal. It's quickly becoming my go-to destination when I have a few days free and with the gorgeous landscapes, delicious food, and laid-back culture it's not hard to see why. I spent an incredible weekend with Damian in Porto, Portugal where we stayed in an Airbnb for a long weekend.

Around Porto
From the famous francesinha sandwiches and fresh seafood to the Port wine and picturesque cafes and bars, we taste tested our way through the city and luckily had great weather for exploring. Luckily for us, the weekend marked the graduation weekend for the students from the University of Porto, which meant the city was buzzing with excitement.

After Damian left on Monday, I explored Braga, Portugal for a few days and then flew to London for the Sevens Rugby Tournament (my first rugby match!) over the following weekend. We luckily again had fantastic weather and a great weekend before I continued north in the UK to Scotland.

Perfect Sunday stroll around Notting Hill, London
I spent the past two weeks exploring Scotland and Northern Ireland before heading southbound in Ireland toward the Dingle Peninsula, my summer home. I fell in love with the breathtaking landscapes, incredible night life, and endearing locals I met along the way. I learned more regional history than I expected and met a handful of great new friends. Like Portugal and Spain, this region continues to capture my heart.

Right now, I'm working on updating my new blog, The Globetrotting Ginger, with more pictures and writing more stories to share the details and adventures from these past two months.

A sincere thank you to everyone for following along all of these months. I'm excited about my new site and hope you choose to continue to follow my travels!
